"Meet the Parents" lowered my expectations going in and it came out a winner, big time. It's on my list of the top ten pictures released in 2000. I was amazed at how the story piled on layer after layer of wild situations; it was like watching one of those great screwball romantic comedies of the 30s and 40s.
