Elephant Man (titre original : The Elephant Man) est un film américain réalisé par David Lynch et sorti en 1980. Ce film tourné en noir et blanc est une adaptation romancée des mémoires de Frederick Treves , le médecin qui prit en charge Joseph Merrick , surnommé « Elephant Man » (« l'homme-éléphant ») du fait de ses nombreuses difformités.

She said that the story of Merrick’s soft tissue being buried had not been proven because of the number of graveyards at the time.
