Vincente Minnelli (Chicago, 28 de febrer de 1903 - Beverly Hills, 25 de juliol de 1986) fou un director de cinema estatunidenc. Biografie. Vincente Minnelli, geboren als Lester Anthony Minnelli, was de zoon van Mina Mary LaLouette Le Beau en Vincent Charles Minnelli, muzikaal leider van het rondreizende toneelgezelschap Minnelli Brothers' Tent Theater. Minnelli was zelf ook in het theater te zien, van zijn derde tot zijn achtste, waarna hij naar school ging.
Minnelli was born on March 12, 1946, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles. She is the daughter of Judy Garland and Vincente Minnelli. Her parents named her after Ira Gershwin's song "Liza (All the Clouds'll Roll Away)". Minnelli has a half-sister, Lorna, and half-brother, Joey, from Garland's marriage to Sid Luft.
