Professional astrologer and lothario David Galaxy (Alan Lake, aka Mr Diana Dors), finds himself entangled with the Law and must be able to provide an alibi to clear himself from an incident that involved robbery and murder five years previously.
David Galaxy tends to come across as a thinly veiled account of David Sullivan’s life and state of mind during this period. To give a bit of backstory: towards the end of the 1970s, porn baron turned film producer Sullivan had been charged with living off immoral earnings, due to claims by undercover policemen that one of Sullivan’s saunas had been offering the ‘full treatment’.
