26 de nov. de 2014 · Anne Seymour Damer, née Conway, (8 November 1748, Sevenoaks – 28 May 1828, London) was an English sculptor. Life Anne Conway was born into an aristocratic Whig family, the only daughter of Field-Marshal Henry Seymour Conway (1721–1795) and his wife Caroline Bruce, born Campbell, Lady Ailesbury (1721–1803), and was brought up at the family home at Park Place, Remenham, Berkshire.

Anne Seymour Damer, född 1748, död 1828, var en brittisk skulptör, författare, resenär, teaterproducent och skådespelare. Hon var berömd i sin samtid och deltog i utställningarna på The Royal Academy från 1784 till 1818.
Anne Seymour Damer, née Conway, had married the Hon. John Damer in 1767, but, following his suicide, trained as a sculptor. She was a cousin of Horace Walpole (1717-1797), who warmly encouraged her, and who declared her on one occasion (perhaps half in jest) to be the equal of Praxiteles.
