Llanfaglan (formerly known as Llanfagdalen) is a village in the community of Bontnewydd, to the south west of the town of Caernarfon. The ancient St Baglan's Church stands in an isolated position in a field overlooking the Menai Strait. The church is dedicated to St Baglan, the son of Dingad. The church is now closed.

Stands close to the edge of the land abutting the sea about 0.5 mile/1km west of Llanfaglan village. It is approached across a field from a country lane some 150 yards/metres away. Around 4.5 miles from the centre of Caernarfon following the A487, then turning west along minor roads.
