8 de ago. de 2022 · Mary Stuart (the future Mary, Queen of Scots) was the third child of King James V (1512–1542) and Mary of Guise, the rulers of Scotland. Both of her brothers had died before she was born at Linlithgow Palace in Linlithgow, Scotland, in December of 1542.
Mary Queen of Scots once famously said, "It is better to be feared as a lion than loved as a lamb." This quote reflects her understanding of the complex dynamics of power and leadership. In her view, it is more advantageous to command respect through fear rather than seeking adoration through love.

Mary, Queen of Scots (8 December 1542 – 8 February 1587), was Queen of Scotland from 14 December 1542 until 24 July 1567. Then she was forced to give up her kingdom ( abdicate ) . She was executed because it was said she had been plotting to assassinate her cousin, Elizabeth I of England .
Maria I Stuart of Stewart (Engels: Mary) (paleis van Linlithgow, 7 of 8 december 1542 – Fotheringhay Castle, 8 februari 1587 ), ook bekend als Mary, Queen of Scots, was koningin van Schotland van 14 december 1542 tot 24 juli 1567. Zij was de dochter van koning Jacobus V en Maria van Guise.
