‘Live’ Bullet is a live album by American rock band Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band, released in April 1976. It was recorded at Cobo Hall in Detroit, Michigan, during the heyday of that arena's time as an important rock concert venue. Recorded September 4th-5th, 1975 at Cobo Hall, Live Bullet launched Bob Seger’s career from regional to national, nearly overnight. Bob Seger said, “We were doing 250 to 300 shows a year before Live Bullet.
For many years Live Bullet was my favorite live album. It's Bob Seger at his absolute peak, both as a songwriter and a vocalist. The version of Turn The Page from this album is one of the most loved, most played, and most well known songs of all time. And probably the most perfect distillation of the darker side of a musician's life on the road.
