Arthur Hill Gillmor (March 12, 1824 – April 13, 1903) was a Canadian farmer, lumberman and Liberal politician from New Brunswick. He was the son of Daniel and Purmelia Gillmor, both native of New Brunswick. He was educated at the St. Andrews Grammar School, St. Andrews and later engaged in the local lumber and farming business.
Arthur's Hill is a multicultural area which many migrants from South Asia settled in with later immigration from Africa and Eastern Europe. [4] It contains many Indian restaurants and shops. As of 2011, 55.7% were White, 29.5% Asian, 6.5% Black, 3.3% Arab and 3.3% Mixed Race. It had a population of 11,029 in 2011.
Hill-Trevor was born in Berkeley Square, London, on 9 November 1798 and was the only surviving son of Arthur Hill-Trevor, second viscount (1763–1837), by Charlotte, third daughter of Charles FitzRoy, first Baron Southampton. His younger brother, Charles Henry, died on 18 September 1823 after falling during the Stapleton Park races.
