4 de nov. de 2015 · After Beckford’s death the ewer passed to his daughter Susan Euphemia, the wife of the 10th Duke of Hamilton. It is interesting to note that instead of being sent to Hamilton Palace it was preserved in the Hamilton’s London house in Portman Square, as recorded in the inventory thought to have been prepared after the death of Susan Euphemia.
Susan Harriet Catherine Hamilton (9 juin 1814 - 28 novembre 1889) est une aristocrate écossaise. Elle est la fille d' Alexander Hamilton (10e duc de Hamilton) et Susan Euphemia Beckford.
