Norman Public Schools has announced a comprehensive STEAM academy themed around aviation and aerospace. Working with the University of Oklahoma, Moore Norman Technology Center and industry partners from both the public and private sectors, NPS will capitalize on Norman’s geographic location and rich history in flight to create a program for high school
At the high school level, several choirs are available including a mixed choir, treble choir, women's choir, concert choir, and chorale. In addition to these, there are three other choir opportunities in the Jazz Choir, Chamber Choir, and Show Choir. All-City concerts for the Choral Music program feature all students from 6th through 12th grade.

Norman Public Schools Announces Associate Degree Program. Students in Norman Public Schools will have the opportunity to earn an associate degree at a reduced cost. Through a partnership with Tulsa Community College, students can earn their degrees by the time they finish high school. NPS will begin the program in the 2024-25 school year.
