Johannes Ludvig I, prins av Anhalt-Dornburg (4 maj 1656 i Zerbst – 1 november 1704 i Dornburg), var en tysk prins av huset Ascania och härskare över furstendömet Anhalt-Dornburg. John Louis I, Prince of Anhalt-Dornburg (4 May 1656, in Zerbst – 1 November 1704, in Dornburg), was a German prince of the House of Ascania and ruler of the principality of Anhalt-Dornburg. He was the sixth (but fourth surviving) son of John VI, Prince of Anhalt-Zerbst , by his wife Sophie Auguste , daughter of Frederick III, Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorp .
Christian August was the third son of John Louis I, Prince of Anhalt-Dornburg and Christine Eleonore of Zeutsch. After the death of his father in 1704, Christian August inherited Anhalt-Dornburg jointly with his brothers John Louis II, John Augustus (died 1709), Christian Louis (died 1710) and John Frederick (died 1742).
