Children are encouraged to feel allegiance to their own particular section of the school, and this sectional subdivision ensures that the school never feels overwhelmingly big.

To mark their 75th anniversary Danes Hill School will throw open their doors to the public and hold a community fete in June to mark this momentous occasion. Danes Hill transitioned from a private house to a private school in 1947. It began as a boarding and day preparatory school for boys aged 8 -13, typical of a prep school of its day.
