Anne Luttrell (1743-1808) was born in Marylebone, London, to Simon Luttrell, Member of Parliament and later First Earl of Carhampton, and Judith Maria Lawes. Considered a beautiful young woman and an excellent ‘catch’, it came as a surprise to society when Anne married a commoner and squire, Christopher Horton, in 1765.

26 de abr. de 2022 · Early life. Anne was born in Marylebone, London. She was the only daughter of Simon Luttrell, later first Earl of Carhampton, and his wife, Judith Maria Lawes. Her father was a Member of the House of Commons before being created Baron Irnham in 1768, Viscount Carhampton in 1781 and Earl of Carhampton in 1785. Marriages.

Luttrell Born on Nov. 20, 1929, Helen Anne Luttrell (née Custer), known by all as “Anne”, grew up and later spent her life on what was once known as Dandridge Ford Road near the village of Vanville, West Virginia. Throughout her life, she remained on that same hilly country road now known as Near Bethels Way.
