Girls can use the extra hours they accrue by not having to travel to all their activities to deep their expertise and expand their skills and interests. Progressing into the Upper School at 13+, girls move into their Upper School House, living there until they have completed their GCSEs. About us. Downe House Riyadh is the first premium, British girls’ school to open in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The school is exclusively for girls from Year 5 to Year 13 (ages 9–18) and co-educational (mixed boys’ and girls’ classes) in Pre-Prep and Lower Prep (ages 3-9).
