The Royal Agricultural College (RAC), now the Royal Agricultural University (RAU), was the first agricultural college in the English speaking world. In 1842, the seeds were sown at a meeting of the Fairford and Cirencester Farmers Club.
Royal Agricultural University was established in 1844 and is located in the market town of Cirencester in Gloucester, England, and has two farms located in the nearby countryside. RAU was the first agricultural college in the English-speaking world, and provides more than 30 Agriculture-based Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes.
Overview. A chainsaw maintenance and operation course for the operator with some or no experience who is required to operate chainsaws for cross cutting only. Content includes; routine maintenance, protective clothing, operation technique, cross cutting and manual stacking. The course includes assessment for the Lantra Chainsaw Certificate.
