His Excellency Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu was born on the 16th of July 1968 in Shashemene, Ethiopian Empire and has been serving as minister of foreign affairs to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia since 2016. Gebeyehu completed his bachelor degree in political science and international relations at Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia in 1991.
