  6. Lady Diana was the daughter of Aubrey de Vere,20th Earl of Oxford and Diana Kirke. She was born at Downing Street, Westminster, Middlesex, England. She married Charles Beauclerk, the illegitimate son of King Charles II and Eleanor (Nell) Gwynne, on April 13, 1694 whereupon Diana became Duchess of St Albans.

  7. Lady Diana Beauclerk, eldest daughter of Charles Spencer, second Duke of Marlborough, was an amateur artist and illustrator. She painted romantic subjects, portraits and mythological and rustic costume scenes, executed in light colour washes. Walpole and Reynolds were among her admirers, and several of her drawings were engraved by Bartolozzi.
