El teatro ha estado en el Tomorrowland desde noviembre de 1971, y la primera película del teatro fue “America the Beautiful”. Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor. Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor is an interactive animated comedy club show attraction based on the Monsters, Inc. franchise in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. It opened on April 2, 2007, replacing the Circle-Vision attraction The Timekeeper.
On March 19, the name was shortened to ‘Laugh Floor’ the idea being that the original name was too long. The Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor is not the actual debut of a Monsters Inc.-themed attraction at Disney. In 2006, the dark ride “Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!” opened at Disney’s California Adventure.
