Ludgrove School est un pensionnat indépendant anglais pour environ 200 garçons, âgés de sept à treize ans. Il est situé dans la paroisse civile de Wokingham Without, attenant à la ville de Wokingham dans le comté anglais du Berkshire .

The headmaster Simon Barber and his wife, Sophie, head of pastoral care, use the phrase ‘fortnightly boarding’, since there is an exeat every other weekend. Most of the 186 boys join at eight, and ‘the majority of parents have come on a personal recommendation,’ says Sophie.
Ludgrove was founded in 1892 by Arthur Dunn in Cockfosters, north London. Dunn was one of life’s natural enthusiasts and his favourite saying, “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with all thy might” remains the school motto today.
Ludgrove School has a Schoolsmith Score® of 92, and is the highest scoring prep school in the Wokingham and Bracknell area. It is also one of the top 15 prep schools in the country. He was educated at Magdalen College School, Oxford and Warwick University. He spent eight years as an officer in the British Army until changing to a career in teaching. He was headmaster of Cothill House (2003 – 2011) and ran an outreach programme with the Cothill Trust and the Natural History Museum before a brief stint as the Principal of the Cothill Trust.
