19 de oct. de 2004 · I saw "Born On The 4th Of July" recently for the first time. Oliver Stone who directed this film truly deserved the Academy Award that he received for it. Tom Cruise was fantastic in his portrayal of Ron Kovic (a real marine combat Vietnam veteran) and although he did not get an Oscar for this role his performance merited it.
