The President's (non-) Mystery follows James Blake, corporate lobbyist who falls for the owner of a small-town cannery and decides to give up his life of wealth and influence, through duplicity and immolation of a purloined corpse, to help rescue her town from crushing poverty by creating a cooperative. Cooperatives can work.
Conceived by none other than President Franklin Roosevelt, this mystery stars Henry Wilcoxon as James Blake, a lawyer who decides it’s time to start his life over when he learns that his lobbying efforts have hurt an entire town.
