[2] By 1147, Philip had succeeded his brother Henry as abbot of the collegiate churches of Notre-Dame of Étampes, Notre-Dame of Corbeil, Notre-Dame of Mantes, Notre-Dame of Poissy and Saint Melon of Pontoise.
