20 de ago. de 2019 · His account of his father’s death just replicates the BBC announcement: “The King’s life is passing peacefully towards its close”. We now know that his dying words were “Damn you!”, and that the editor of the Times had successfully petitioned to have him ‘switched off’ a few hours early, as it would look bad for the announcement to appear in the evening papers.
