Ursula St. Barbe was the daughter of Henry St. Barbe, of Ashington, Somerset, by his wife, Eleanor Lewknor, daughter of Edward Lewknor, of Trotten, Co. Sussex. She first married Sir Richard Worsley, by whom she had two sons, and following his death she was married in 1566 to Sir Francis Walsingham.

Ursula was the daughter of rev. Giles St. Barbe and Eleanor Lewknor. The date and place of her birth have not been found. She died on 18 JUN 1602 in Barn Elms, Richmond, London, England. She had two marriages/partners. Her first husband was sir Richard Worsley. They were married, but the date and place have not been found.

In 1566, Walsingham married Ursula St. Barbe, widow of Sir Richard Worsley, and became in possession of her estates of Appuldurcombe and Carisbrooke Priory on the Isle of Wight. In 1567, Ursula gave birth to the couple’s first daughter Frances.
