The role of a Headmaster's wife is vitally important in a boarding community such as ours. Sandroyd is, at its core, a family boarding school. We joined the school in September 2016 with our two young daughters, Hattie and Isla, and have since become part of a wider family that consists of over 200 boys and girls.
Sandroyd is a Boarding School. Does my child have to board? We have approximately 130 boarders in the Prep School. All of our Year 7 and 8 children are encouraged to board, and this is one of the many reasons why parents select Sandroyd. However, there is no expectation that day children will have to board during their time at Sandroyd.

Sandroyd is an independent co-educational preparatory school for both day and boarding pupils aged 2-13 in Rushmore Park, near the village of Tollard Royal in Wiltshire. During the summer, girls and boys play mixed cricket in the beautiful grounds, ride, play with pets or paints, and go adventuring in the playground or woods.
