His youngest daughter Victoire, who was only a few months younger than the princess, saw Princess Victoria most often. Princess Victoria was aware of Victoire’s inferior social rank and disliked her. She suspected that Victoire reported her activities to her father.

Victoire Maria Louisa, Lady Hanmer (née Conroy; 12 August 1819 – 9 February 1866) was a childhood companion of the future Queen Victoria. She was born the youngest daughter of Sir John Conroy , who served as the comptroller of the household of the Duchess of Kent and the young princess.

Lady Victoire Maria Louisa Hanmer Conroy (12 agosto 1819 – 9 febbraio 1866) è stata una nobile britannica, fu una compagna di giochi della futura regina Vittoria.
