Sir John Gladstone of Fasque, 1st Baronet (11 December 1764 – 7 December 1851) John Gladstone was a Scottish businessman, slave owner and Member of Parliament who owned some of the largest sugar plantations across the West Indies in Jamaica and Demerara (Guyana).
