Eleanor Post Hutton was an American heiress and socialite born in 1909. She was the granddaughter of C.W. Post, founder of Post Cereals. Over her lifetime, she was married 6 times, including to playwright Preston Sturges from 1930 to 1932. She had one son from her marriage to writer Janos Bekessy in 1942. Hutton lived much of her later life in Europe and died in Paris in 2006 at the age of 96.

Eleanor Post Close was born on December 3, 1909 in Greenwich, Connecticut, the second daughter of heiress, socialite and company founder Marjorie Merriweather Post (1887–1973) and investment banker Edward Bennett Close.
