Henry Ernest, Count of Stolberg (20 July 1593 in Schwarza – 4 April 1672 in Ilsenburg) was a German nobleman. He was the founder of the older main line of the House of Stolberg . He was the eldest son of Count Christopher II of Stolberg. From 1639 to 1645, Henry Ernst and his younger brother John Martin jointly ruled the County of Stolberg.
Henry also converted to Protestantism and together they started spreading the new faith. The pope then removed them both from office. Marriage and issue. On 3 November 1556 in Quedlinburg, Henry married Elisabeth (d. 1578), a daughter of Count Hector I of Gleichen. They had four children: Bodo (1559–1583), inherited Stolberg-Wernigerode

Count Bodo III of Stolberg-Wernigerode (4 January 1467 − 22 June 1538), nicknamed "the Blissful", was Count of Stolberg and Hohnstein and Lord of Wernigerode from 1511 until his death. Life.
