Diecasting was first introduced by Dowst Mfg at the 1893 Colombian Ecpostion (Chicago Worlds Fair). in 1914 Charles Dowst and his compnay released the first TootsieToy. TootsieToy was later sold to Strombecker in 1964. We are uncertain if they are still being produced today.
