Störtz is joined by four other soloists for Samuel Wesley’s expansive ‘The Wilderness’ (1832), to a text from the book of Isaiah. In essence a mini-oratorio, Wesley’s setting features the soloists both individually and combined, in addition to the choir and a characterful part for organ.

Helen Morton. Treasurer. Helen Morton has had a varied career working as a civil engineer, in the oil industry and in management roles for charities, including VSO, MSI and Trinity Hospice. In 2000, she became the Treasurer (Finance & Estates Bursar) at Somerville College and left in 2012 to concentrate on her musical and outside interests.

In January 2013, the Choir of Trinity College Cambridge joined forces with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenent in Trinity College Chapel to record all six cantatas with Hyperion Records. They were joined by soloists: James Gilchrist (Evangelist/tenor), Katherine Watson (soprano), Iestyn Davies (countertenor), and Matthew Brooke (bass).
