The movie begins in 1947 at Princeton, where Nash (played by Russell Crowe ) has arrived as a graduate student, together with Martin Hansen (Josh Lucas), Richard Sol (Adam Goldberg), Ainsley (Jason Gray-Stanford), and Bender (Anthony Rapp).
