12 de abr. de 2016 · John Page Classic Ashburn The name John Page is synonymous with top-of-the-line guitar craft and design. Mentored by Freddie Tavares, who helped Leo design the Stratocaster, he worked his way up from Fender's shop floor to end up running the Custom Shop - the so-called 'Dream Factory' - which he helped set up in 1987.
Having returned somewhat to the ethos of the Fender Bullet models of almost 40 years ago – though with a major upgrade in the overall veracity of both design and construction – Page has also created a range of John Page Classic models, manufactured in Japan under a licensing deal with Howard Swimmer, a former partner in the now-defunct Premier Builders Guild operation.
John Page Classic manufactures some of the finest hand-crafted guitars and pickups. The Fender Custom Shop co-founder is one of the world's great luthiers, and now you can own your own hand-crafted, small-batch, made in the USA versions of the award-winning AJ, Ashburn, and more!
