1 de ene. de 2007 · *** Vivian Grey is told that he must go away to school but the spoiled young boy of ten but he refuses. His father has little to do with him. Vivian does not even know his alphabet. I liked Violet Fane and was truly sad that she died, it seemed that the Baroness was not his true love. Vivian's loss of his friend Essper George is great at the end.
Conclusion. Although Vivian Grey is hardly an outstanding novel, it is interesting to a student of Disraeli’s life because it reveals his emerging interest in politics and political career. Vivian is more than a silver-fork dandy who imitates Beau Brummell, the iconic arbiter of men’s fashion in Regency England.
