Ellen Greene is an American actress and singer. She has had a long and varied career as a singer, particularly in cabaret, as an actress and singer in numerous stage productions, particularly musical theatre, as well as having performed in many films and television series.

Ellen Greene, who originated the role of Audrey in the 1982 off-Broadway production of the Ashman/Menken musical "Little Shop of Horrors" and repeated her performance in the 1986 movie version, stepped back into the role in 2015--at the age of 64--for a two-night concert version, part of the New York City Center's Encores! series.
