Remi Aguilella’s distinctive, stripped-down, and tasty phrases pepper the dark, moody dream pop of Daughter’s sophomore effort, Not to Disappear. “When we started, the music was a lot more acoustic, and the two other musicians in the band were both playing guitars,” Aguilella recently told Modern Drummer.
Daughter es una banda británica de música Indie Folk formado en 2010 en Londres, Inglaterra. La banda está conformada por la vocalista Elena Tonra, el guitarrista Igor Haefeli y el baterista Remi Aguilella. Daughter ha publicado tres álbumes de estudio: If You Leave, Not to Dissapear y Music From Before the Storm.
Elena Tonra, Igor Haefeli y Remi Aguilella son las tres mentes creativas detrás de Daughter, una formación londinense que en la primavera de este 2023 salió de un letargo de 7 años después de su anterior disco, que irónicamente se titulaba Not to Disappear (2016) y de la banda sonora Music from Before the Storm (2017).
Fronted by North London native Elena Tonra (born 15 January 1990), the band was formed in 2010 after the addition of American-born Swiss guitarist Igor Haefeli and drummer Remi Aguilella from France. They have released four EPs and three albums, and are currently signed to Glassnote (North America) and 4AD (Europe). [5]
