Joseph Martin Leeway (born 15 November 1955) is a British musician and songwriter, who is best known as being a member of the pop band Thompson Twins, joining the band in 1981 after being one of their roadies.
In 1981, the line-up became Bailey, Dodd, Roog, Bell and two new members: former band roadie Joe Leeway on congas and percussion, and Jane Shorter on saxophone. This line-up recorded the debut Thompson Twins studio album A Product Of... (Participation), documented in the film Listen to London (1981). [6]

16 de abr. de 2022 · Joe Leeway swapped music for acting and appeared in the little known 1986 film ‘Slaves Of New York’. He now practices hypnotherapy locally to his home in Los Angeles. Tom Bailey hasn’t given up music at all and in 2001 released albums under the name of ‘International Observer’.
