Bristol Medical School was founded in 1833, with teaching at the Bristol Royal Infirmary dating all the way back to 1735. It is currently ranked 6 th in the UK for Medical Schools by the Complete University Guide 2024 and 11 th in the Guardian University Guide 2024.
