Harriet Frances Bagot, Lady Thynne (26 July 1816 – 5 January 1881), also known as Lady Charles Thynne, was a British novelist. Harriet Frances Bagot was born on July 26, 1816, the eldest daughter of Anglican Bishop Richard Bagot and Lady Harriet Villiers, daughter of George Villiers, 4th Earl of Jersey .

Richard Bagot, son of William Bagot, 1st Baron Bagot of Bagot's Bromley and Hon. Elizabeth Louisa St. John, on 22 December 1806. 2 She died on 18 October 1870. 2 Her married name became Bagot.

Bagot married Lady Harriet Villiers, daughter of George Villiers, 4th Earl of Jersey in 1806. (1782–1854), bishop successively of Oxford and of Bath and Wells, was the sixth son of William, first Lord Bagot, by Louisa St. John, daughter of the second Viscount Bolingbroke. Educated at Rugby, he entered Christ Church, Oxford, in 1800, and proceeded B.A. in 1803, and M.A. in 1806.
