Our students enroll in two arts classes per semester making MHSA the only high school in Wisconsin to offer a core arts education in conjunction with college prep academics.
Milwaukee High School of the Arts (MHSA) offers students the chance to select an arts-focused major (creative writing, dance, theater, music, or visual art) and receive a block of instruction per day focused on that major. Students commit to one area of the arts for all four of their years.
