Robert Henry Timmons (December 19, 1935 – March 1, 1974) was an American jazz pianist and composer. He was a sideman in Art Blakey 's Jazz Messengers for two periods (July 1958 to September 1959; February 1960 to June 1961), between which he was part of Cannonball Adderley 's band.
Robert Henry "Bobby" Timmons (19 de diciembre de 1935, Filadelfia, 1 de marzo de 1974, Nueva York, Estados Unidos) fue un pianista y compositor de jazz. Es conocido especialmente como miembro de los Jazz Messengers de Art Blakey (1958 - 1961) y compositor de temas de gospel soul jazz como "Moanin'", "Dat Dere" y "This Here".

Soul Time is a 1960 album by jazz pianist Bobby Timmons featuring Blue Mitchell on trumpet, Sam Jones on bass, and Art Blakey on drums. After This Here Is Bobby Timmons, this was the second album recorded under Timmons' leadership.
