Horse Feathers is an American indie folk band from Portland, Oregon, United States. [2] Biography. After fronting several rock bands in his native Idaho, singer/songwriter Justin Ringle moved to Portland, Oregon in 2004 and began focusing on acoustic music, playing open mics regularly under the moniker Horse Feathers.
Mondegreen are a dream pop / art rock duo consisting of Ash Schanley (Theda) and Dustin Dybvig. After years of emailed tracks were exchanged across the country from Portland, OR to Buffalo, NY, the two met in Oregon in 2015.
Portland-born and Maui-raised, Dustin Dybvig is Brass Clouds – multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer. While assorting the spectrum of moods into over a bevy of releases, Dybvig shape shifts from mystical, deep sea, acid jazz into bright, kaleidoscopic neck-popping beats.
Longtime violinist Nathan Crockett and keyboardist Dustin Dybvig provide continuity, but much of Appreciation feels like the best of Ringle’s previous musical ideas just took a giant step into a larger arena.
