Never Let Me Down is the seventeenth studio album by the English musician David Bowie, released on 21 April 1987 through EMI America Records. Co-produced by Bowie and David Richards and featuring guitarist Peter Frampton, the album was recorded in Switzerland and New York City from September to November 1986.
11 de nov. de 2022 · In the late ‘80s, Peter Frampton was recruited by David Bowie to play guitar on his 17th studio album Never Let Me Down, with the electric guitar star also staying on as part of Bowie’s band for the vocalist’s 1987 Glass Spider tour.
Press tour shows included live performances of some of the songs from the album Never Let Me Down. Bowie was joined by long-time friend Peter Frampton on the tour. Frampton said "I don't have a book to sell; I don't have an album to sell; I'm just here as a guitarist.
Frampton played on Bowie's 1987 album Never Let Me Down and sang and played on the accompanying Glass Spider Tour. [9] [10] [35] Frampton would, in 2013, credit his participation in this tour for helping revive his career.
