At Christ’s College, we get boys. We are New Zealand’s only independent school for boys from Years 9 to 13. We understand what makes boys tick. We enjoy their energy, humour, ideas, and zest for life. We celebrate boys and we teach in ways they learn best.
Christ's College is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge. The college includes the Master, the Fellows of the College, and about 450 undergraduate and 250 graduate students. The college was founded by William Byngham in 1437 as God's House.

Christ's College, Canterbury is an independent Anglican secondary day and boarding school for boys, located in the city centre of Christchurch, New Zealand. Founded in 1850 by Reverend Henry Jacobs in Lyttelton as a school for early settlers, the college is the oldest independent school in the country. [2]
Christ’s is centrally located, with instant access to the shops and cafés of the city centre. The College's extensive gardens offer an oasis of calm amidst the hubbub, and conceal a 17th century swimming pool and (occasionally) the College cats.
