Docabilly is an album by American folk music artist Doc Watson, released in 1995. Guests include Duane Eddy and Marty Stuart.
Duane Eddy (April 26, 1938 – April 30, 2024) was an American rock and roll guitarist. In the late 1950s and early 1960s, he had a string of hit records produced by Lee Hazlewood which were noted for their characteristically "twangy" guitar sound, including "Rebel-'Rouser", "Peter Gunn", and "Because They're Young". If you are a fan of Doc, don't pass up this CD. For an old guy, he does a fine job on these late 50's rockabilly songs. His singing is as good as his pickin'. Along for the ride are Marty Stuart, Duane Eddy and Junior Brown, among others. "Just a Little Too Much", "My Special Angel" and "Bird Dog" are highlights, but they're all good!
