  4. Engelbert I from the House of Sponheim was Margrave of Istria, count of Spanheim and the Kraichgau and Vogt of Salzburg. He was the eldest son of count Siegfried I of Spanheim and Richardis of Lavant, daughter of count Engelbert IV of Sieghardinger.
