Asi bin Shuraim Al Shammari (Arabic: عاصي بن الشريم الشمري) (c. 1854–1937) was an Arab leader of the powerful Shammar tribe and the grandfather of King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia. He was a member of the Abde section of the Shammar tribe.

Fahda bint Asi Al Shammari (Arabic: فهدة بنت العاصي الشريم) (died 1934) was an Arab woman of the Shammar tribe who married first to her cousin, the Al Rashidi emir Saud bin Abdulaziz, and later to King Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia. By her first marriage, she had two sons Abdulaziz and Mishaal.
As a child, King Abdullah was raised in an environment that promoted knowledge and religious learning under the care of his father and mother, Fahda Bint Asi Al-Shuraim, a descendent of the prominent Shammar tribe, one of the largest and most influential Bedouin tribes in the Arabian Peninsula.
