Not So Dumb is a 1930 pre-Code comedy motion picture starring Marion Davies, directed by King Vidor, and produced for Cosmopolitan Productions for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. It is based on the stage play Dulcy by George S. Kaufman and Marc Connelly that starred Lynn Fontanne .

20 de abr. de 2016 · April 20, 2016 review. Not So Dumb (1930), one of the first screwball comedies, was Marion Davies’ second sound film and her first full-fledged talking comedy. Davies had just enjoyed two major hits with the silent comedies The Patsy and Show People, both 1928 and both directed by King Vidor.
Marion Davies gives a spirited performance in the 1930 comedy Not So Dumb as Dulcy Parker, a well-meaning but ditzy woman who hopes to help her fiancée Gordon (Elliott Nugent) land a lucrative business deal so that they can be married.
