Big Momma is a series of action comedy films the series began with Big Momma's House it was followed by two sequels. In order to protect a beautiful woman and her son from a robber, a male FBI agent disguises himself as a large grandmother.
FBI agent Malcolm Turner and his 17-year-old son, Trent, go undercover at an all-girls performing arts school after Trent witnesses a murder. Posing as Big Momma and Charmaine, they must find the murderer before he finds them.
The film spawned two sequels in the Big Momma series: Big Momma's House 2 (2006) and Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son (2011). Both sequels were lighter and more family-friendly than the original story, but saw reduced takings in the box office, and were panned by film critics.

Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son is a 2011 American crime comedy film and the third and final installment in the Big Momma film trilogy. It is a sequel to 2000's Big Momma's House and 2006's Big Momma's House 2. The film was directed by John Whitesell and stars Martin Lawrence reprising his role as FBI agent Malcolm Turner.
